The Hill – the Afternoon –

Squirrel – Eclipse – the Bumble bee –

Nay – Nature is Heaven –

「自然」は目で見るもの―

小高い丘と―ひるどきと―

リスと―日食―マルハナバチ―

いいえ―自然は天国―

“Nature” is what We hear –

The Bobolink – the Sea –

Thunder – the Cricket –

Nay – Nature is Harmony –

「自然」は耳で聞くもの―

コメクイドリと―潮騒と―

空の雷と―コオロギと―

いいえ―自然は調和―

“Nature” is what We know –

But have no Art to say –

So impotent our Wisdom is

To Her Sincerity –

「自然」は判りきったもの―

けれども説明できない―

人間の知恵は役立たず

自然の単純さの前で―
