What was His furthest mind – of Home – or God –

Or What the Distant say –

At News that He ceased Human Nature

Such a Day

彼が人間を辞めたという知らせを聞いて

And Wishes – Had He any –

Just His Sigh – accented –

Had been legible – to Me –

How Conscious Consciousness – could grow –

Till Love that was – and Love too best to be –

Meet – and the Junction be Eternity

果たして彼は知っていたのだろうか

意識がどのように成長していくかを

かつての愛と今後の最善すぎる愛が

出会ってその接点が永遠となるのを
