The Road to Paradise is plain –

And holds scarce one –

Not that it is not firm

But we presume

楽園への道は平坦だ 
道行く人はほぼいない 
不確かだからではなく
我らに推定されるのは

A Dimpled Road

Is more preferred –

The Belles of Paradise are few –

Not me – nor you –

くぼみのある道の方が
人に好まれているから 
楽園に美人はすくない 
私でもあなたでもなく 

But unsuspected things –

Mines have no Wings –

でも疑いようもない事 
楽園の鉱床に翼はない
