Sweet hours have perished here,

This is a timid room;

Within its precincts hopes have played –

Now fallow in the tomb.

 

快い時の流れもここで絶えた
ここは内気で自信のない部屋
この境内で希望が戯れていた 
今は墓の中の影となっている
